Parisa Mokhtari

Parisa Mokhtari developed a deep interest in sustainable residential buildings during her graduate studies. This led her to a second master's degree in Sustainable Design. Working as a research assistant at the Center for Sustainable building Research, and analyzing data from Phius Certified Buildings, reinforced her belief in Passive House principals. Now, with years of design experience, holding a CPHC certification, and work with the Minnesota PHIUS Alliance, she is committed to making the Minnesota a pioneer in Passive housing.

Jared Johnson

Jared Johnson has served Phius Alliance MN since its founding in early 2022. He has primarily focused on improving regulatory support for passive and sustainable building practices, leading the Policy Advocacy action team and representing the chapter in its public-facing efforts. Professionally, he specializes in multifamily residential construction as a designer for Kaas Wilson Architects.

Anna Koosman

With nearly two decades of experience in sustainable architecture, Anna has led diverse communities towards sustainable practices. She has contributed to LEED-certified projects, taught sustainable design-build, and earned national recognition for her work. Anna's commitment to high-performing building practices is evident in her work on passive house projects, including Northside Passive affordable housing and Solstice low-embodied carbon apartments. As a Phius CPHC and board member, Anna is dedicated to making passive building accessible and combating climate change. Vote for Anna for her continued leadership with Phius Alliance MN, and her mission to cre ate better, healthier buildings for future generations!
